Hello, you are using the trial version so that the watermark Aimersoft appear in the middle of the output video. For the ripping time, it depends on the size of your DVD movies. You can set the bit rate lower to reduce the video size.

You mean the ripped files can't be transferred to iTunes? That may be due to the video resolution, frame rate, etc. For your case, we recommende you choose "Apple" > "iPad" as the output format to get videos with optimized settings.

Whenever I try to load episodes from my DvD they jump approximately every 4 seconds. The disc works perfectly well if I watch it in Windows Media Player, but even before I convert the files it is messed up. I am using Aimersoft Video Converter Standard and wondered if you would know of a solution to the problem. Thank you in advance

I'm guessing you should label this "trial download mac version" not "free".

For your case, would you please change the video resolution by clicking "Settings" to match your TV?

I recently converted a tv show to m4v by selecting the apple tv format. when I played the show on my tv the picture was small and compacted. I have a 36" tv if that makes a difference. When I recorded the show with my dvd recorder and the picture was just fine. Is there a particular setting that i need to use when i convert to mp4 so that it shows in full screen

Hello, are you using Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate to download videos and convert DVDs simultaneously???
  • Aimersoft Employee  2012-03-12 02:26
When converting DVD to iTunes using the trial version, you will get video files with watermarks and audio files limited to 3 minutes.
  • Mike   2012-03-12 01:48
If i download the free trial im only going to be able to convert 3 minutes of my video? With watermarks?
  • bdb  2012-03-09 16:32
DVD conversion runs smoothly but it seems to get stuck at 100%.  The arrows are spinning much faster but the status has been at 100% for over 5mins now and the download until this point took a total of 7mins. I've canceled the download and the entire movie was completed and then it started over.  How can I just have it download once?
  • Aimersoft Employee  2012-03-05 01:16
Hi, Alex. You are using the trial version. To get rid of the watermark when ripping DVD to iTunes, you need to purchase the software.

Hello, John, we will contact you by mail.
  • John  2012-02-23 23:02
Certainly. I've tried a couple, but try Fight Club, Empire Strikes Back, or Bourne Identity.
  • Aimersoft Employee  2012-02-23 06:24
Hi, John, would you please tell us what DVD movie you are ripping so that we can manage to find a solution? Generally, the Apple TV video preset works well and we never come across this problem. It's maybe because your DVD is relatively.
  • John  2012-02-22 15:28
I tried it as you suggested and it's better, but it's still stilted and splicy. It's almost there, but not quite. I noticed the bit rate on the default settings is lower than what I originally had. Should it be even lower or is there a different setting I should adjust?
  • Aimersoft Employee  2012-02-22 01:40
Hi, John, i guess you choose a common HD video format as the output format. However, the Bit rate and some other parameters are not good for Apple TV. You can just choose "Apple" > "Apple TV" or "Apple TV HD" to get videos with optimized settings for smooth playback on Apple TV.
  • John  2012-02-21 14:06
I have the Video Converter Pro and I'm attempting to rip a DVD to my Apple TV (or rather to iTunes to be transferred to my Apple TV). The sound quality is fabulous and the video quality is great also. But, the playback is splicy, so the movement of the actors seems stilted. What can I do to increase the quality of the video playback? I've increased the bit-rate to 10,000, but it won't let me increase the fps any larger than 30.
  • Aimersoft Employee  2012-01-31 02:18
In this occasion, you can click "Setting" beside "Profile" and set the video bit rate as 4000kbps or lower to get videos with a much smaller size.

Hi, Blu-ray Ripper can rip both Blu-ray and regular DVD to iTunes.
  • Al  2012-01-26 14:40
I wish to purchase your DVD Ripper (for iTunes). I just noticed that you have a Blu-ray Ripper. Will the Blu-ray Ripper product rip Blu-rays for iTunes? Will it rip regular DVDs for iTunes?
  • Al  2012-01-26 14:28
I tried your DVD Ripper software. For a DVD of 118 mins, it created a file of approx. 8.6Gb. I used the M4V format. Is there a way to rip the DVD to a smaller file (for iTunes)?
  • LunaQue  2012-01-11 13:42
Hi, Jpahljr. For your case, the possible reasons are: 1. You DVD disc is special and it is not well supported by our DVD Ripper. 2. Your  CD-ROM is aging. If both are OK, you can restart the program and convert DVD to iTunes again. If the problem still exists, you can contact Aimersoft customer support for detailed technical support.
  • Employee  2012-01-11 12:08
To fix the issue, we need more details about the DVD source and output you set. We will contact you via email to help you solve this problem.
  • Jpahljr  2012-01-10 16:04
I followed the right process and everything ripped through the software, but when I play it the video is shaky and skips a little every few seconds.  Is there something I have not done or is there something I could do?
  • Employee  2011-12-30 08:27
You can just rip the main movie part without the menu, chapter information, etc. This will make waiting-to-be-ripped files much smaller.
  • LunaQue  2011-12-30 03:22
You mean your DVD files are too large and may take a long time to rip? Usually, there are many VOB files contained in the DVD folder, you can rip one by one.
  • Jie  2011-12-29 23:10
MY FILES ARE HUGE!  How do I get them to be smaller?
  • Employee  2011-12-29 06:21

After the DVD ripping, add the video files to your iTunes library by clicking File > Add File to Library. Then connect your iPad to your computer and sync iTunes to your iPad.
