Step 3 Configure settings for the smart trimmer.

Interestingly, the Smart Trimmer will automatically recognize video sections without any sound. However, you can still preset the smart trimming parameters as follows:

Trim by Audio Volume

With the Audio Volume feature, the program can auto-select and extract video sections where the volume is of less than the stipulated rate. For example, you can click the Volume drop-down list and choose 10%. In that case, the Smart Trimmer will auto-extract areas where the volume level is less than 10%.

Trim by Audio Length

The Audio Length feature allows you to auto-trim video sections where the audio playback duration is less than the selected time. For instance, you can set the time as 5 seconds. It means that all video areas with audio playback less than 5 seconds will be trimmed off.

Trim by Audio Buffer

With the Audio Buffer smart feature, the Smart Trimmer will auto-select the area to trim depending on the audio buffer size. The buffer area can be set between 0 seconds and 5 seconds. This feature can come in handy if an area you want to trim includes special voice narrations like screaming, breathing, murmuring, and so on. Now click the Run button for the software to trim your video automatically.
