How to Play DVD and Video on Palm, Palm Pre

With the multimedia capabilities of Palm, we can play DVD and videos on Palm Pre 3.1-inch touch screen, but before transfer the video to Palm, we have to convert the DVD and video to the right format.

Palm Pre supported media formats:
Audio Formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+, AMR, QCELP, WAV;
Video Formats: MPEG-4, H.263, H.264.

1 Load video/audio/DRM files/DVD files

3 Clip or Edit videos (Optional)

1. Edit function - Crop Video

Click the button to edit video. then you can crop video, add effects/watermark/subtitle to video.

2. Edit function - Trim Video

As you have selected the clips to convert, here you can trim any segment of your clips to convert by clicking the button and drag the button under the preview window to set the start/end time as you want.

4Convert DVD/Video to Palm Pre video

After all preparation work finished, click to convert DVD and video files to Palm Pre supported media formats.

5Transfer video to Palm Pre

After video conversion, click to transfer the video files to the device connected with your computer. If the file is unprotected, you can directly copy it to device without doing conversion.

Tips: If you want to copy the converted DRM files to device, you need to select "Copy to Device" after the conversion is finished, and the files will be automatically added to the list.

You can also click "Add Files" or "Add Folder" to add video/audio files directly from your computer and then copy to your device. Then click 'OK' to start transferring files to your device.
