Part 1. How to download YouTube videos on Mac for free

Download Aimersoft Free YouTube Downloader for Mac and double-click the .dmg file to install it. The main interface is as below and there are 3 ways to download YouTube videos.

Click the pop-up Download All button and choose the video you want. Select your desired video quality and click Download to start downloading immediately. Simple drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste the playlist or channel URL is a feasible way to download video collections.

While downloading videos, you can let the app run in background and continue to find more videos you want. All the finished videos can be found under Downloaded.

Part 2. How to play and manage videos

1. Play videos

Go to Downloaded to find the downloaded videos and double click any video clip to play it with the built-in FLV player. Now you can even enjoy your files in full screen.

2. Manage videos

This free video downloader for Mac also allows you to manage FLV, MP4 and WebM videos. Go to Downloaded tab, right click a video item and select import to add FLV, MP4 or WebM files from your local drive. After that, you can enjoy them with the free Mac downloader.
