How to Import Video/DVD/DRM files into Windows Movie Maker
Due to copyright issues, the input formats of Windows Movie Maker are WMV, ASF, MPG (MPEG-1), AVI (DV-AVI), WMA, WAV and MP3. Importing of other container formats such as MP4/3GP, FLV and MOV, MIDI, AIFF, AAC and SWF are not supported even if the necessary DirectShow decoders are installed.
Part1. Convert DVD, video, DRM files to Windows Movie Maker media format

1 Import Video/DRM files/DVD files/online videos
Click
to load video files(include DRM files) to this program. You can load common videos and DRM files from your computer or the device connected to computer directly.
Click
to import DVD folder, ISO or IFO files. All DVD files from both your first DVD Rom and daemon tool will be automatically detected and recognized by the program.
Click
to add the URL to download the videos from online video sites (Like YouTube, Metacafe, Google Video, Yahoo Video, etc) and the files will be automatically loaded to this program.

2Set output formats and destination folder
Select proper output formats from the drop-down list of "Profile". Then you can select proper destination folder for converted video files by clicking drop-down list of "Profile".
If you want more advanced settings, please click "Advanced.." button to change those parameters including frame rate, bit rate or encoder for both video and audio.
3Video Clip or Edit (Optional)
Click
on the toolbar to clip videos. Set the start time & end time to get multiple clips as you like.
Click
to edit video and you can crop the frame size, add effects, add picture/text watermark, or edit subtitle.

4Convert DVD/video/DRM files
After all preparation finished, click
to convert DVD, video, DRM files to Windows Movie Maker supported media formats.
5 Import the output video into Windows Movie Maker
Run Windows Movie Maker. Click "File" --"Import" to select the converted files, then you'll see the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections" and start to make personal video movies with this software.
Part2. How to burn Windows Movie Maker project to DVD?
1. Add the Windows Movie Maker project to Video Converter Ultimate. Then click
to start .
2. Select a Menu Template and set the settings for your DVD. Select a Menu Template and set the settings for your DVD before burning video. Then click "Next".

3. Start to burn Windows Movie Maker project to DVD. Click "Start" button to burn your Windows Movie Maker project to DVD.
That's it, Once the burning is completed, you can put it into your DVD player. You now have your Windows Movie Maker video played on your TV!
