1. MacTheRipper Lion issue

MacTheRipper is one of the most popular free Mac DVD rippers. With it, you can copy protected DVD movies to your local drive. To use MacTheRipper, you need to install Rosetta to support PowerPC. I've only tried it twice so far, but it produced perfect results. Easy to use. It has the option of just saving to a disk image or saving and also burning a new DVD. I highly recommend.

I use this all the time to copy my DVD to my Mac. It copies the whole DVD so when you play the files it plays as if you've inserted the DVD.

This MTR replacement for Lion is much better than MTR since it supports lots of output video formats and there are even video presets for iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMovie and more!!!
