I've been on Windows for a while and DVD Flick worked great - but when I switched over to Macs, DVD Flick no longer worked and I couldn't create my DVDs like before. I was immediately impressed with the functionality of this software. I had an mp4 file that needed to be converted to play on an older DVD player for a memorial and all of the super high cost software packages I tried just didn't do the job. First I tried Roxio. It took over three hours to convert, then died on the burn. I tried Adobe Premier CS4 and it was too cumbersome to use effectively. Windows DVD maker just didn't recognize the source format. Finally, I tried Aimersoft DVD Creator and from installation to finished DVD was under a half hour. I didn't like the watermark on the finished product from the trial and found that a purchased license would take care of it. Excellent software and very user friendly.

This product is great and it makes things very easy on you, with enough depth that you can let your creative juices flow. It falls short in certain areas. Notably when you change something in the source, all changes made to the menus within that Title are reverted to default, this can be VERY frustrating when fine tuning. It's even more frustrating that the Text Editor that you use for the menus is very simplistic. It takes a lot of patience and resilience to line things up perfectly and keep them there. Once you get past those two little bumps however, this is the best product on the market for the price you get it at. I hope they'll consider fixing these and add in a few abilities to add "Bonus Features" and other more in depth menu options found in modern day DVDs

Awesome product. I loved the option where it lets you create your own menus for the DVDs, especially since I convert old wedding tapes to DVDs to make some money on the side and this is definitely great for that since I can make menus and burn the stuff later and it looks decent and professional. You guys nailed it with this one. Works like a charm, it's easy to edit videos with, supports lots of video formats, lets you burn you project afterwards; truly has everything a video editor needs. You can even do some special effects with this thing, change video contrast etc and you need those especially if you don't use a professional camera to film with. Worth the money.

Well I had a couple of years of those family vacation videos and I thought it was quite a collection we never actually got around the whole family to watch it and spend some time together remembering the good times. i'm no computer whiz, but i found this pretty easy to use and managed to make a disc so we can watch it on the DVD player. It's excellent to burn downloaded MP4 movies to a DVD+R disc. However, it can't burn Blu-ray. If that feature is added, I won’t hesitate to buy it!
