What are TOD files?

The TOD file type is primarily associated with 'JVC Everio' by JVC Americas Corp. Basically, TOD files are captured by a JVC Everio video camera, such as GZ-HD3 and GZ-HD7 and saved in a proprietary format that can be viewed using the Cyberlink software included with JVC video cameras.

Note: Some JVC Everio cameras also save video files with a .MOD extension, which is similar to TOD format.

How to play TOD files on PC?

The open methods are similar too: you can install a free VLC Player/KMPlayer which can play TOD and MOD files smoothly; or you may just simply rename TOD files to .MPG which could be playback in PowerDVD and other applications in most cases.
